Sinus (2021)

Reference study in which I tried to recreate whatever was closest to me at the time, which happened to be a syringe and a sinus rinse, as photorrealistically as possible. That was the first time I used a software besides Blender, GIMP 2.10, to make materials.
Refractive index, transparency, volume absorption and roughness were the main elements I used to distinguish between the different kinds of plastic and glass. The label was made using the picture I took from the real one as an image texture and projecting it from view onto UV of the mesh, so it breaks apart if you look it from other angles.
I also used curves and the screw modifier to add a little bit of detail at the top of the syringe. As for the measurements on its materials, I used GIMP to create an image texture, which I then put through a ColorRamp and used as a map to mix the shaders of the plastic with the black color of the numbers.
