Lamp-Man (2021)
The idea for my first original artwork came from a challenge I proposed to myself, which consisted of creating a whole scene with a single reference photo during the afternoon. This way, Lamp-man became of my most thorougly modelled characters. It's also my favorite one because of how much emotion it is able to convey without doing much, wihtout even having a face. Thematically, it deals with derealization disorder and the feeling of not knowing who you really are.
The character was modelled after a reference photo of a humanoid lamp concept, except for the head, which was made using Bézier curves.
